The 12 x 12 cabin was built by the owner Jim from locally salvaged materials and milled lumber. It is around 100 feet from the host’s home, Rosie and Jim, who go above and beyond for their guests. The beautiful Norwegian wood stove can be used for heat and to make delicious meals. There is also a propane stove you can use and running water. There are enough cooking utensils for a feast and coffee and tea fixings. The cabin has solar powered lights and an oil lantern to light up space. The mid-century day bed and a comfy futon in the sleeping loft can house three people. They have soft vintage linens, heavy comforters, and quilts. The top porch is the perfect place to look at the wood beyond the cabin and have a nice cup of coffee.

The cabin has its own compost outhouse and sink. There is also a bathhouse which has a solar shower and Hilly hot tub. The hot tub will be a unique experience because it is a cast iron tub heated from fire lit under it. When you reach the campsite, you will be greeted by a breakfast the next morning with tea, coffee, homemade bread, a small jar of almond milk, and eggs from the hens on the site.
