The yurt is 30 feet in diameter and has a really amazing open space with a raised skydome. You can see the stars at night while you cuddle in the cozy bed. A wood stove is perfect for chilly nights with firewood provided by the host. The airbed is queen-sized and lifted up by a frame. It has comfortable bedding which ensures that you will get a good night’s rest.  The rustic bathroom has a nice hot shower, which will definitely soothe you after a long day of hiking. The front porch offers the perfect place to relax and admire the glorious view of the garden, tree, and rolling acres.

Teepees

Teepees, or tipis, are cone-shaped tents that were once made of animal skins and wooden poles. Glamping campgrounds have improved the structure and now make tipis from heavy canvas to protect the guests against bad weather. The tipi has a mosquito netting so you won’t be uncomfortable at night. There is also a wicker armoire to provide privacy for changing clothes. A 3500W generator is also attached to the tipi so that you have full air conditioning in the camper or tipi. The lamps and fan lanterns are all battery and solar powered. A hot outdoor shower is also available to soothe you after a long day of hiking and fun.

The vintage camper that comes with the tipi has equally beautiful decoration and furnishing. This will put the guests at ease and make them feel at home. There is an additional space to sleep in the camper. The kitchenette has utensils, basic spices, cookware, three-burner propane stove, and dishes. You can eat at the folding table provided for guests. You can also use the shared barbecue to cook a hot meal or sit around the shared fire pit while you roast marshmallows.

There are plenty of beach chairs and lighting so that you can sit comfortably while you take in the peaceful view around you.  You will also have access to Harris Lake where you can fish from a rowboat or canoe, as well as enjoy the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan. The property is also a great place to indulge in bird watching, swimming, boating, sailing, wine tasting, sports, fishing, and other adventures. You can go kayaking, canoeing, biking, water sports, paddle boarding, and even whitewater rafting. The Huron-Manistee National Forests is also an easy day trip away from the property where you can go for sightseeing, walking, and hiking.
